Episode 90 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book is insisting on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.

In this episode, I will talk about the tenth law which is (The Law of Rubber Band) and it states that 'Growth stops when you lose the tension between where you are and where you could be'. The important points under this law are the following:

- Most people use only a small portion of their abilities and rarely strive to reach their full potential.

- Successful people are remembered for their contributions, and failures are remembered for their attempts, but ordinary people, who are the majority, are forgotten.

- Most people are naturally inclined to live within their comfort zone, preferring comfort over possibilities.

- If you plan to be anything less than what you can be, you will likely be unhappy every day of your life.

- You will only reach your full potential if you have the courage to push yourself outside your comfort zone and be free from the mindset of the normal person.

- Instead of wishing and desiring, people need to look within themselves for reasons to start.

Our position in life is primarily a result of the choices we make and the actions we take or fail to take.

- People who take risks learn more and faster than those who do not. The depth and range of their experience is often greater.

The greatest enemy of tomorrow's success is today's success. No Nobel Prize winner has ever made a significant impact after receiving the award.
