Episode 125 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this new episode where we talk about (LEADER SHIFT) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book objective is to help leaders to adapt, grow and make intentional changes in their leadership approach to remain effective in constantly changing world.

We are still in the first chapter of the book which is talking about an important question: Why every leader needs to perform leader shift? I will continue to mention some important points under this chapter.

- Leader shift moves us forward against the natural temptation to be intellectually rigid; it pushes us to become more innovative and step outside our comfort zones.

- Having to move quickly in today's climate is not an option if you want to succeed.

- For leaders, timing is crucial. Good timing enables leaders to seize the moment and secure victory for their team.

- There's no set line when it comes to improvement, and there's no perfect picture of leadership to master.

- Staying ahead of the team comes from thinking ahead. If you think ahead, you can stay ahead.

- When you become aware of what you need or want, you'll be better able to see it and attract it.

- Wherever there is uncertainty, there will always be a need for leaders, meaning that going into the unknown always requires courage.

 - If you want to excel at leader shift, you need to keep improving because you won't win tomorrow's challenges with today's abilities.

- The best way to have good choices tomorrow is to make the right choices today.

- Everyone can improve, and everything can be improved. Every day offers opportunities for improvement.
