Episode 122 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to the final episode of this book (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lesson for leaders to be successful and effective.

The twenty sixth and final lesson is (People will summarize your life in one sentence - choose it now). The important points under this lesson are the followings:

- Life is like skydiving; you have to do it right at the first time.

- No one will ever care as much about your legacy as you do. If you don't take responsibility for it and work to achieve it, no one else will.

- Most people don't lead their lives; they simply accept them

- People don't get to choose when or how they die. But they can decide how they live.

- The greatest thing this generation can do is lay some foundation for the next one.

- Your goal as a leader is not to make people you lead indispensable, but to leave them with something they can't do without.

- We must live and work in our time so that what we received as a seed may blossom into a flower for the next generation, and what we received as a flower may bear fruit for them. This is what we mean by progress.

- Knowing that one day people will summarize your life in a single sentence is a wake-up call.

- Information alone will not help you become a better leader. You need to apply information to your life.

Episode 121 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this new episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for leaders to be successful and effective.

The twenty fifth lesson is (You will only get answers to the questions you ask). The important points under this lesson are the followings:

Confidence is the positive, uplifting feeling that gives you energy before you truly understand your situation.

- He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

- When you know the right questions and go to the right people with them, eventually you will receive the right answers.

- Valuable questions create valuable lives. Successful people ask better questions and, as a result, receive better answers.

- Good leaders invest in themselves, not as an end in itself, but for the benefit of others.

- You can never fulfill your potential by doing things you hate.

- Passion for what you do is the essence of success and achievement. Passion will fuel you and give you energy when others around you are tired.

- Leaders who consistently do work they don't love not only risk failing to excel, but also compromise their integrity.

- Find the right people and ask the right questions if you want to continue growing as a leader.

- The secret to success lies in your daily plan. Successful people make the right decisions early and then manage those decisions daily.

- You will never change your life if you did not change something you do every day

- A weakness of many leaders is having too little time for reflection. Leaders are naturally proactive.
