Welcome to this new episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for leaders to be successful and effective.
The twenty fourth lesson is (Few leaders succeed unless many people want them to succeed). The important points under this lesson are:
- Without many people working together, there would be no successful leaders.
- If you want to be a successful leader, you will need the support of many people, and if you are wise, you will appreciate and acknowledge their contributions to your success.
- Behind every capable man are always other capable men and women.
- If leaders thought more about the contributions of others, they would be more grateful to them.
- There's a misconception that great leaders, especially those we read about in history, are capable of achieving great things regardless of the kind of help they receive from others.
- Only a small percentage of people are consistently successful over the long term, and this few understand that all success comes through the help of many others.
- As a leader, you will never move forward until your followers are behind you.
- People appreciate working with someone who appreciates them.
