Episode 109 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for leaders to be effective and successful.

The thirteenth lesson of the book is (Do not manage your time, manage your life). The important points under this lesson are the following:

- Nothing distinguishes effective managers more than their caring and loving time

- People waste their time when they do things that bring them little or no positive return.

- Time is the most precious currency in your life. You alone decide how to spend it. Beware of letting others spend it for you.

- Leaders must look further ahead than others in the organization. If leaders wait for a crisis to happen before reacting, the organization and its employees will suffer.

- Training, mentoring, and guidance can make a huge difference in people productivity during their time.

- The only thing worse than training employees and losing them is not training them and retaining them

- When you have a strong sense of purpose, enjoy life and be aware of how short it is.

- Improving your abilities in your top priority areas is always a good investment in yourself that will pay off in the long run.
