Episode 110 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANBOOK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for leaders to be successful and effective.

The fourteenth lesson is (Keep learning to keep leading). The important points under this lesson are the following:

Investing in yourself first might seem selfish to some around you, and they might even criticize you for it, but if they do, they don't truly understand how growth happens.

- You can't lead others until you lead yourself first; you can only do this if you invest in yourself first.

- The moment you stop learning is the moment you stop leading.

- If you create a growth environment, not only the people in your organization will grow and improve, but talented individuals will also come knocking, eager to join your team.

- The secret to success lies in those around you; people's attitudes and actions influence one another.

- Surrounding yourself with those who are better than us allows us to expand and improve ourselves, and while this isn't always comfortable, it's always beneficial.

- Great people seek to draw out the greatness in others. Small people will try to hold you back with the same limitations they have imposed on themselves.
