Episode 71 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. This book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading teams.

In this episode, I will talk about the ninth law which is (The law of Countability) and it states that Teammates must be able to count on each other when it counts. The important points under this law are the following:

- The importance of the law of Countability is most evident when the risks are high.

- Team members who can only rely on each other during easy times have not developed the ability to depend.

- Character + Competence + Commitment + Consistency + Cohesion = Countability.

- Countability begins with character because it depends on trust, which is the foundation of all interactions with people.

- Having team members who cannot be relied upon in times of hardship is not a very happy experience for the team. When times are tough, you need to know that you can count on your teammates.

- Teammates must develop cohesion, that is the ability to stick together no matter how difficult the circumstances become.

Episode 70 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) written by John C. Maxwell. The book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading teams.

In this episode, I will talk about the eighth law which is (The law of the Bad Apple) and it states that Rotten attitude ruin a team. The important points under this law are the following:

- Good mental attitudes among players do not guarantee the success of the team; however, bad mental attitudes guarantee its failure.

- The winner's advantage is not a gift given at birth in high IQ or talent. The winner's advantage is in mental orientation, not talent.

- If you want to get amazing results, you need to have good people with great talent and great mental attitudes.

- People have a tendency to adopt the mindset of people they spend time with, picking up their way of thinking, beliefs and approach to challenges.

- There is only one thing that spreads faster than a positive mental attitude, and that is a bad mental attitude.

- Most of the bad mental attitudes are the result of selfishness.

- Bad mental attitudes should be addressed. You can be sure that it will always cause discord, resentment, competitiveness and division in the team. It will never go away on its own if left untreated.
