Episode 88 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book is insisting on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.

In this episode, I will talk about the eighth law, which is (The law of Pain) and it states that 'Good management of bad experiences leads to great growth'. The importance points under this law are the following:

- You need to have realistic expectations when it comes to pain and problems, you cannot avoid them.

- If a person can manage a bad experience well, he will enjoy talking about it later. It becomes a great story of struggle.

- Success in life does not come from having good situations, but from managing difficult situations well.

- People who make the most of bad experiences are those who find creative ways to deal with them.

- When you feel the pain of a bad experience, creativity gives you the opportunity to turn that pain into your gain.

- When you have a bad experience, instead of letting it discourage you or make you angry, find a way to make it stimulate your creativity.

- Not everything we face can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.

- When bad experiences create strong emotions within us, we either face those emotions and try to change or we try to escape.

- It is almost impossible to grow significantly if you do not take responsibility for yourself and your life.

Episode 87 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book is insisting on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.

In this episode, I will talk about the seventh law, which is (The law of Design) and it states that 'To maximize growth, develop business strategies'. The important points under this law are the following:

- Remember as you build growth strategies to keep them personal, repeatable, and transferable. A well-planned strategy will not do you any good unless you can use it.

- If you do not believe that you can achieve long-term success in your life, you probably will not give planning the attention it deserves.

- Life without any systems is a life in which one must face every task and challenge from a zero point.

- We may be very busy and highly efficient, but we will only be truly effective when we start keeping the end in our minds.

- It is not enough to be busy with work. If you are busy planning, reading books and attending conferences but they are not directed at the areas necessary for your success, then you are not helping yourself.

Strategy is the first attempt to understand where you are in the world today. Not where you wish you were or where you hope to be, but where you already are.

- No plan is worth the paper it is printed on unless it gets you started doing something.

- Planning and action must go together. The plan maps out the path and the action guides you along it.

- If you want to achieve long-term success, you must learn to be consistent day after day, week after week, year after year.

- Do not try to adopt someone else's practices and apply them to your life, modify them to suit you and use them to hone your strengths and achieve your goals.
