Episode 102 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons and concepts for leaders to be successful and effective.

The sixth lesson of the book is (The best leaders are good listeners). The important points under this lesson are the following:

- Many leaders are terrible at listening. In fact, they believe that talking is more important than listening.

- When we hear without truly listening, our leadership and our followers will surely suffer.

- Good leaders pay attention to the little things. They pay attention to their intuition and pay more attention to what is left unsaid.

- When a leader is ignorant of what's going on around them, the organization's problems can only get worse.

- Listening can be the difference between a mediocre company and a great one.

- To be a good leader, you must not only be able to think independently, but also to understand and learn from the thinking of others.

- When leaders listen, they gain insight, knowledge, wisdom, and the respect of others. This allows them to leverage all the valuable elements of the organization.

- If the people you work or live with feel like you're not listening to them, you'll see it in their faces.
