Episode 4 (Grow and Lead)

John Maxwell's book are great. I found them very useful so I decided to share some benefits of books I read for this author. I started with (THINKING FOR A CHANGE) book in the last two episodes. I will start from this episode to talk about a nice book called (Talent is never Enough: Discover the choices that will take you beyond your talent).

The book title is interesting and the main objective of the book is to enhance once talent to get great results. The main message of the book is: (Don't depend only on your talents). Talent is important and has important role but only if it is fed with number of factors which are stated in the book.

The book starts with an important question: When will Talent alone be enough? The author first states that talent is important, but it is not enough as alone. There are 13 choices that will magnify the talent or as Mr. Maxwell says: A talent person with extra advantage.

The book will cover these 13 choices and how they will support the person's talent in order to get great results. Before I go to these 13 choices, I want to mention some important opinions which are mentioned in the book.

-  When people achieve great accomplishments, others often explain their accomplishments simply by referring everything to talent, but this is a wrong way of looking at success.

- If talent is sufficient, then most effective and influential people must be the most talented, but this is often not the case.

- History has been changed all over the world by talented men and women who have magnified their skills.

 - The hardest thing about being successful is that you have to keep being successful. Talent is only a starting point in the world of work.

The book is very interesting and has many useful information and tips with many stories either personally or from history. It is nice to read.
