Episode 43 (Grow and Lead)

Leadership is an important subject. It is necessary to read books about it in order to get the sense of its importance. One of the useful books is (THE 21 IRREFUTABLE LAWS OF LEADERSHIP) written by John C. Maxell. This book provides leadership concepts so that any leader or whoever seeks to be a leader can understand them well.

The third law is called (The law of Process) and states that leadership develops daily, not in a day.

The important points under this law are the following:

- Being a leader is like investing successfully in wall street (Money Market). If you have a hope to gain wealth in one day, you will not succeed.

- The ability to grow, develop and improve skills are what distinguish leaders from followers. Successful leaders are learners and the learning process is continuous.

- The stages for leadership growth are as follows:

> First Stage: You do not know what you do not know.

> Second Stage: You know that you need to know.

> Third Stage: You know what you do not know.

> Fourth Stage: You know and grow and this will begin to show clearly.

> Fifth Stage: Going off simply due to what you know.

- If you want to see where a person is developing to become a champion, see his daily program.

- If you want to become a leader, you can do that. Every person has the ability to become a leader; however, this will not be done between one day and another.

This law is necessary for leaders since it will ensure continuous growth and development.
