Episode 48 (Grow and Lead)

Leadership is considered to be an important topic. This is due to its vital role in the success and failure of countries and organizations. John C. Maxwell Book (THE 21 IRREFURTABLE LAW OF LEADERSHIP) is a very useful book to explain the importance and roles of leadership through different laws.

The eighth law is called (The law of Intuition) and it states that leaders evaluate everything with a leadership bias.

The important points under this law are the following:

The law of intuition is based on much more than just facts. The law of intuition relies on facts as well as instinctive sense and other intangible factors.

People who have a natural ability to lead tend to have very strong leadership instinct.

- The leadership instinct is the leader's ability to read what is going around him.

In all kinds of circumstances, leaders pay attention to details that others might miss. They 'fit' in with the leadership dynamics.

Natural ability and gained skills create an intuition that makes matters of leadership very easy for the leader.

Leaders who want to succeed leverage all the assets and resources they have for the good of the organization.

- No one can achieve great works unless he is completely honest with himself.

Applying this law requires special efforts from the leader in order to master it.

Episode 47 (Grow and Lead)

History proves that leadership is an essential factor for positive or negative change among countries and organizations. We need to focus on effective leadership in order to get the desired positive results. (The 21 IRREFUTABLE LAWS OF LEADERSHIP) book written by John C. Maxwell provides essential rules to achieve this effective leadership.

The seventh law is called (The law of Respect) and it states that people naturally follow leaders stronger than themselves.

The important points under this law are the following:

- People do not follow others by chance. They follow those who respect their abilities to lead.

The greater the ability of a person to lead, the faster he will recognize the ability or inability of others to lead.

- Effective leaders depend on respect. They recognize that leadership depends on freedom and choice. When leaders show respect to others, they gain others respect.

- Effective leaders do what is right even if it has a risk of failure or in the face of terrible danger.

- People respect others' achievements and it is hard to argue when there is a good achievement record.

When leaders stick to the team until the task is achieved, keep their loyalty to their organization when things go tough, and care about their followers even if this could harm them, their followers will respect them and their actions.

- The biggest source of respect for leaders is their commitment to add values for others.

Leaders need respect since it will support them in many aspects. This respect will not come by default, but with many factors that the leader should apply.
