Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell.
In this episode, we are going to talk about the first law which is (The law of Significance) and it states that One is too small to achieve greatness.
The important points under this law are the following:
- As much as we like individual achievement, the truth is that no one has ever done anything worthwhile alone. The belief that one person can do something great is a myth.
- Dig deeper and you will find that all the actions that appear to be individual are in fact a team effort.
- The truth is that teamwork lies at the core of great achievement. You cannot do something of real value alone.
- Whether you want to realize your potential or pursue the seemingly impossible, you need to become a good team player.
- Few people like to admit they cannot do everything; however, this is a fact of life. There are no super men or women.
- Some people fail to encourage teamwork because they feel threatened by other people.
- Nobody is a perfect team. We need each other, you need someone and someone needs you. We are not isolated islands.
- For the person trying to do everything alone, it is already game over. If you want to achieve great things, you must bond with others.
