Episode 63 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell.

In this episode, we are going to talk about the first law which is (The law of Significance) and it states that One is too small to achieve greatness.

The important points under this law are the following:

- As much as we like individual achievement, the truth is that no one has ever done anything worthwhile alone. The belief that one person can do something great is a myth.

- Dig deeper and you will find that all the actions that appear to be individual are in fact a team effort.

- The truth is that teamwork lies at the core of great achievement. You cannot do something of real value alone.

- Whether you want to realize your potential or pursue the seemingly impossible, you need to become a good team player.

- Few people like to admit they cannot do everything; however, this is a fact of life. There are no super men or women.

- Some people fail to encourage teamwork because they feel threatened by other people.

- Nobody is a perfect team. We need each other, you need someone and someone needs you. We are not isolated islands.

- For the person trying to do everything alone, it is already game over. If you want to achieve great things, you must bond with others.

Episode 62 (Grow and Lead)

One of the facts in life is that we are working in teams in most of the fields we are involved in either this was in our families, work, business, sport, volunteering...etc. All of these will require to be in a team because this is the default situation.

In fact, success of countries and organizations will depend much on effective teamworks. Even the same applies on the individual level.

I chose this time to write about a very intersting and useful book written by John C. Maxwell called (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK).

I believe this book is very important for leaders since they will have teams to lead. In addition, it is important for whoever seeks success in life since any achievement will require teamwork or we can say that the value and the volume of achievement will be higher when it is done by a team rather than individual.

The author stated 17 laws necessary for the success of any team. The beautiful point is that these laws are practical based on author's experience and experiments. In addition to many stories that will support the laws. Having effective teams means a lot. It will help to achieve many objectives.

It is also important to know that there is no single factor that will lead to effective teamwork. All factors or laws are important and they will complete each other.

I will mention each law in a separate episode with the important points under it as mentioned in the book. Although this will not replace reading the whole book, it will provide at least the overall picture of the book.
