Episode 69 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading teams.

In this episode, I will talk about the seventh law which is (The law of Compass) and it states that a team that embraces a vision becomes focused, energized and confident. The important points under this law are the following:

- Every team needs an attractive vision to provide it direction. A team without a vision is, at worst, without a goal. At best, it is subject to personal plans.

- Leaders should communicate the vision. Leaders should also keep the vision in front of people and remind them of the progress being made to achieve the vision.

- You cannot be confident that the team you are in is the right team for you if you have not examined the vision with reference to your strengths, beliefs, and goal.

- A moral compass brings integrity to the vision; it helps everyone on the team to check their motivations and make sure they are working for the right reasons.

- Whenever you put forward a vision, you should make a connection between the past, present, and future. You should combine them.

- The goal will not benefit the team much without steps to achieve it. A vision without a strategy is nothing more than a daydream.

Episode 68 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. Teamwork is essential in any organization in order to achieve objectives.

This book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading teams.

In this episode, I will talk about the sixth law which is (The law of Catalyst) and states that winning teams have players who makes things happen. The important points under this law are the following:

- The change catalyst is having a good time. He loves to ignite the team, get things done, and do whatever it takes to push the team to the next level.

- Every team needs people who catalyze change if it is to have any hope of winning consistently.

- People who are catalyzed to change feel things that others do not. They are able to use whatever they feel to help the team succeed.

- People who catalyze change say things that other team members do not say to get the team going.

- People who are catalyzed to change can do what others cannot because their talent is as strong as their passion.

- A true sign of people taking responsibility is their willingness to give their time and attention to see a task until completion.

- If you lead a team, you need people who catalyze change in order to push the team to its potential.
