Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book is insisting on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.
In this episode, I will talk about the fourth law, which is (The Law of Reflection) and it states that 'Pause to let growth catch up'. The important points under this law are the following:
- People go through countless experiences every day. Many learn nothing from them because they never take the time to slow down and think.
- Pausing to think is one of the most valuable activities people can do for their own growth.
- If someone is going in the wrong path, they do not required to be motivated to speed up, they need to stop, think and change the path.
- The scientist Galileo said: (All truths become easy to understand once they are discovered. The important thing is to discover them. It requires research).
- Anthony Robbins says: (Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers).
- There are things in life you have to work for and things you have to wait for.
- The further life goes, the more urgent it becomes to take some time to slow down and think.
- The law of reflection will not worth unless you consciously deal with your thinking time. You can deal with it consciously by asking yourself tough questions.
