Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book is insisting on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.
In this episode, I will talk about the third law, which is (The law of Mirror) and it states that 'See the value of yourself to grow yourself'. The important points under this law are the following:
- All people have seeds of success inside them. All they have to do is plant these seeds, water them, feed them, and they will start growing.
- If you do not realize that you have true value and are worth investing in, you will never put the time and effort necessary to grow and realize your potential.
- You should not care too much about what others think of you. You should care more about what you think of yourself.
- If you undervalue yourself, the world will never value you more. If you want to become the person you are capable of becoming, you have to believe that you can.
- If you are positive, you help yourself create a positive self-image. If you are negative, you undermine your self-worth.
- If we want to change our lives, we need to change the way we see ourselves. If we want to change the way we see ourselves, we need to change the way we talk to ourselves.
- Comparing yourself to others is a distraction you do not need at all. The only person you should be comparing yourself to is yourself.
- It's hard to feel bad about yourself while doing something good for someone else.
