Episode 93 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) written by John C. Maxwell. The book insists on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.

In the episode, we will talk about the thirteenth law, which (The Law of Modeling) and states that 'It is hard to grow when you have no one to follow but yourself'. The important points under this law are the following:

- Resources are of no value unless you can extract the essentials you need from them.

- We become like the people we admire and the models we follow, which is why we should be careful who we ask for guidance.

- As you look for men to serve as role models and mentors, look at their personal lives as carefully as you do their overall performance.

- The more you strive to reach your full potential, the more you will have to explore new horizons.

- Wise people often use only a few words to help us learn and grow.

- If the person offering you mentorship does not truly support you and offer you friendship, the relationship will never live up to your expectations.

- Coaches make a difference in the lives of others, helping them grow, improve their potential and increase their productivity.

- If you find wise leaders, good role models, and positive friends, you will find that they will speed up your progress on the journey.

Episode 92 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (15 INVALUABLE LAWS OF GROWTH) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book insists on the importance of growth to reach one's potential.

In this episode, we will talk about the twelfth law, which is (The Law of Curiosity). It states that 'Asking why stimulates growth'. The important points under this law are the following:

- Curiosity is the secret to being a lifelong learner. If you want to keep growing and evolving, you have to keep learning.

- Curiosity helps one thinks and expands possibilities beyond the ordinary. Asking why engages the imagination, leads to discovery, and opens up options.

- The single greatest difference between curious people who are growing and those who are not is their belief that they can learn, grow, and change.

- The first step on the path to wisdom is to question everything, and the last step is to accept everything.

- People who seek growth and development see failures as a sign of progress.

- If we never tried anything that would make us laugh, we would be stuck in the dark caves.

Good ideas are everywhere but they are hard to see when you don't look outside the box you've trapped yourself in.

- One of the biggest obstacles to curiosity and learning is not wanting to look foolish in the eyes of others.
