Episode 99 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANBOOK) written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for leaders to be effective and successful.

The third lesson of the book is (Revelatory moments define your leadership style). The important points under this lesson are the following:

- The choices we make in crucial moments help to shape us and tell others who we are.

- When leaders respond well, everyone wins. When leaders respond poorly, everyone loses.

- Between time and another, a revelation comes as a result of seeing a new opportunity and taking steps to seize it.

- Leaders become better leaders when they experience a revelation and respond appropriately.

- With opportunity comes risk. Don't be afraid to take risks. It's in moments of risk that the greatest leaders are often born.

- If you consistently make good choices and always strive to do what benefits your followers in those moments, your leadership will continue to renew, grow, and evolve.

Episode 98 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for the leaders to be effective and successful.

The second lesson of the book is (The hardest person to lead is always you). The important points under this lesson are the following:

- If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit that the hardest person to lead is ourselves.

- Human nature gives us the ability to underestimate everyone in the world except ourselves.

- If you don not look at yourself realistically, you will never understand where your personal problems lie, and if you do not see them, you will not be able to lead yourself effectively.

- We judge ourselves by our intentions. Even if we do something wrong, if we believe our motives are good, we absolve ourselves of responsibility.

- Leadership is like what cooks in clay pots. It takes time, but the end product is worth the wait.

- Leaders need to remember that the purpose of leadership is not to cross the finish line, but to take people across the finish line with you.

- A lack of accountability in our personal lives inevitably leads to problems in our public lives.

- Nothing proves one's ability to lead others more conclusively than the daily practice of leading oneself.
