Leaders are important people for any organization. This importance comes from their effect either positive or negative; therefore, it is important for organizations who seek success to take care of their leaders. Following the laws that are mentioned in John C. Maxwell book (THE 21 IRREFUTABLE LAWS OF LEADERSHIP) will help a lot in building and improving leaders.
The sixteenth law is called (The Law of Momentum) and it states that Momentum is a leader’s best friend.
The important points under this law are the following:
- Momentum in many times will be the only thing that will make the difference between winning and losing.
- When you have momentum, the future will be bright, the obstacles will be small and the troubles will be easy.
- When you have momentum, you will not be worried about small problems and many of the big problems will disappear on their own.
- Momentum makes a leader's success magnify and make it look better than it really is.
- With enough momentum, any kind of change can be made in an organization.
- Momentum starts inside the leader. It starts with the vision, desire and enthusiasm.
Momentum is very important for the leader since it has a great impact on all.
