Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. Teams exist in every organization; therefore, it is necessary to focus on it in order to achieve goals.
This book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading teams.
In this episode, I will talk about the third law which is (The law of the Niche) and states that All players have a place where they add the most value. The important points under this law are the following:
- Having the right people in the right places is essential for building teams.
- If everyone is not doing what adds the most value to the team, you will not reach your potential as a team.
- You cannot build a winning team or organization if they do not know its vision, purpose, culture, or history.
- If you do not know where the team is trying to reach and why it is trying to get there, you cannot take the team to its full potential.
- As you work to establish a team, evaluate each person's experience, skills, temperament, mental attitude, passion, interpersonal skills, discipline, emotional strength, and potential.
- When you discover where you are, you will say: There is no place like this place in any way, so this must be it.
- The sign of a great team leader is putting people in their right places.
