Welcome to this episode about the (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to take care while leading teams.
This will be the last episode for this book where we will talk about the seventeenth and the last law of this book which is (The Law of Returns) and it states that Investing in the team compounds over time. The important points under this law are the following:
- The time, money and effort required to develop team members does not usually change the team overnight, but their development is always rewarding.
- Deciding that the people on the team are worth developing is the first step in creating a better team. This requires commitment.
- The only way to develop engagement and cohesion among your teammates is to bring them together, not only in a professional climate but in a personal climate as well.
- Some people develop quickly. Others respond more slowly. And that is okay. The main result you want to see is the progress being made.
- There is no greater investment you can make in a team than giving it new opportunities.
- Uniting together is a beginning, staying together is progress and cooperating together is success.
