Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to take care while leading teams.
In this episode, I will talk about the sixteenth law which is (The Law of High Morale) and it states that When you are winning, nothing hurts. The important points under this law are the following:
- High morale helps the team perform to the best of its ability. High morale can make a crucial difference.
- High morale is one of the essential elements for creating the right conditions for any team to perform at the highest level.
- Which comes first? High morale or winning? High morale usually comes first. Why? Because high morale amplifies anything positive that happens to the team.
- When a team has high morale, the performance of its players moves to a whole new level. The team focuses on its potential, not its problems. Team members become more committed.
- A team with high morale will keep going even when faced with a major obstacle or discouraging obstacle.
- The process of building high morale requires strong leadership and takes time.
