Welcome to this episode where we talk about (THE LEADERSHIP HANDBOOK) book written by John C. Maxwell. The book provides important lessons for leaders to be successful and effective.
The tenth lesson of the book is (Do not send Ducks to Eagle school). The important points under this lesson are the following:
- Leadership is essentially putting people in the right place so they can succeed.
- As a leader, you should always challenge people to step out of their comfort zone, but never push them out of their power zone.
- Those who are used to move quickly and soaring are easily discouraged by those who want to hold them back.
- As a leader, your job is to help ducks become better ducks and eagles become better eagles, put people in the right place and help them reach their potential.
- One of the most difficult transitions for any leader is going from being the leader of a group of followers to the leader of a group of leaders.
