Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. This book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading teams.
In this episode, I will talk about the eleventh law which is (The Law of the Scoreboard) and it states that the team can make adjustments when it knows where it stands. The important points under this law are the following:
- If the team is supposed to achieve its goals, it must know its situation. it has to look at itself in light of the scoreboard.
- The game plan informs you what you want to happen, but the scoreboard informs you what is happening.
- If you want to become better than you are, you have to change in the right direction. You can only do this if you are able to evaluate yourself and your team members.
- Making basic adjustments is the secret for winning, and a scoreboard helps you see where you need to make these adjustments.
- Some organizations make checking the scoreboard such an integral part of their culture that they can constantly recognize and seize opportunities that lead to great success.
