Episode 74 (Grow and Lead)

Welcome to this episode about (THE 17 INDISPUTABLE LAWS OF TEAMWORK) book written by John C. Maxwell. This book will provide a lot of useful and necessary concepts for teams to be effective and leaders to care about while leading the teams.

In this episode, I will talk about the twelfth law which is (The law of the Bench) and it states that Great teams have great benches. The important points under this law are the following:

- Any team that wants to excel must have good substitute players in addition to the main players. This applies to any field.

- The bench consists of people who add value to organizations indirectly or support key players.

- Any major player who underestimates the importance of the contribution of substitutes is a selfish person and underestimates the elements that must be present in the team in order for it to be successful. He does not understand that great teams include great substitutes.

- Every person has value and every team player adds value to the team in one way or another. These facts alone should be enough to make team members care about their substitutes.

- When a team includes great substitutes, the options are almost endless.

- You do not need substitutes when things are going well, you need them when things are not going well.

- The basis for making the most of the bench rule is to constantly improve the team.
